PyDecNef

PyDecNef is a Python-based framework for running decoded neurofeedback (DecNef) experiments with fMRI, enabling researchers to decode brain activity patterns and deliver real-time feedback to reinforce specific neural representations.

PyDecNef provides a flexible platform for investigating and manipulating the neural mechanisms underlying perception, learning, language, emotion, and decision-making. Beyond basic research, this approach also holds promise for clinical neuroscience, including the development of novel interventions for psychiatric and neurological conditions through targeted neural modulation.
