NeureSoft

NeureSoft is the BCBL department aimed at developing tools for language assessment, both in Basque and Spanish. As an international interdisciplinary research center for the study of cognition, brain and language, the professional team of the BCBL has developed digital methodology, which is available to facilitate the daily work of professionals in the field.

NeureSoft was specifically created to transfer  the scientific knowledge acquired at the BCBL about cognition and language to broader society.

Neuresoft develops assessment tools for spoken and written language. These will facilitate the diagnosis of impairments such as Language Impairment Disorder or Dyslexia, amongst others. Please, find below the available batteries:

  • NeureHitz: assessment of Basque spoken language
  • NeureLeng: assessment of Spanish spoken language
  • NeureLec: assessment of Spanish literacy skills
  • NeureHizki: assessments of Basque literacy skills

Each battery comprises several tasks. The spoken language batteries gather information about the psycholinguistic processes underlying comprehension and expression in all language-related areas: phonetics and vocabulary, morphosyntax and semantics. The batteries to assess literacy skills will register information about the various processes underlying these abilities.
