Below you will find information that may be helpful as you prepare to depart for the conference.

SAN SEBASTIAN'S AIRPORT
The conference venue (Kursaal) is at the center of the city and takes 25 minutes from the airport by taxi. There is also a regular bus service running directly from the airport to the city center (bus 25 min. approximately).

BADGES & REGISTRATION DESK
The Kursaal has been hired exclusively for the ESCoP 2011 meeting and will be closed to public access. Please remember to bring Valid ID / Passport: Participants will be asked to show an ID or passport when picking up their pack of materials at the registration desk. For security reasons, attendees, speakers and exhibitors are asked to wear their name badges at the premises at all times. Our Technical secretariat and the Registration desk will be open daily at the following times:

* Thursday September 29th - from 15:00 to 20:00
* Friday September 30th - from 07:45 to 20:00
* Saturday October 1st - from 08:15 to 20:00
* Sunday October 2nd - from 09:00 to 20:00

PRESENTATIONS UPLOADING
The conference room will have both PC and Mac computers. Presentations must be uploaded onto a server at the venue, and the server will send presentations to the computers in each conference room. There are two options for uploading your presentation:
1) Sending it by e-mail to escop2011@bcbl.eu by September 28th
2) Uploading it to the server located at the conference venue, at least ONE DAY before your presentation. Presentation uploading will be open at the following times:

* Thursday September 29th - from 14:30 to 20:30
* Friday September 30th - from 08:00 to 20:30
* Saturday October 1st - from 08:15 to 20:00

CONFERENCE DINNER
The conference dinner card will be given on Saturday October 1st at the registration desk between 13:00 and 20:00 (only for previously registered). You must take this card in order to attend the conference dinner.

BRAIN TALKS V, PINTXOS ON MY MIND: WHEN GASTRONOMY MEETS COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY, (Andoni Aduriz, Eneko Atxa and Dana Small) SEPTEMBER 29TH - 5:30PM
This is an open event for the general public. This talk/gastronomic show is organized jointly with the BCC - Basque Culinary Center. The presentation by the chefs will be in Spanish. There will be translation into English via headphones. You will be asked to leave your ID (passport, driving licence or similar) to get the translation-headphones, which will be returned to you when you give the headphones back.
