This open talk organized by BCBL as part of the 15th International Symposium on Bilingualism (ISB15) will feature two young Basque researchers currently working in U.S. universities, who will share their academic and personal journeys and present their research on the Basque language:

This open and free event will feature two young Basque researchers currently working in U.S. universities, who will share their academic and personal journeys and present their research on the Basque language:
- Itxaso Rodríguez-Ordóñez (California State University, Long Beach): will talk about the use of the ergative marker -k, challenging myths and analyzing social perceptions based on real conversational data.
- Ander Beristain (Saint Louis University): will present his work on dialectal variation and bilingualism, with a social and educational focus both in the Basque Country and the United States.
Please note: The talk will be held in Basque and Spanish.
