Dr. Carmen Vidaurre (female) is data analyst and PhD. in Telecommunication Engineering (summa cum laude, international excellence mention, 2006) from the Public University of Navarre. As predoc student, she was awarded a "Formación de Profesorado Universitario, FPU" fellowship to pursue her PhD in the field of co-adaptation for Brain Computer Interfaces. She was guest research at the TU-Graz in the former Institute for Biomedical Engineering between 2002 and 2005. After finalizing her PhD, she was awarded with a Marie Curie Postdoc Fellow to continue her research in online learning topics at the Fraunhofer Institute for Sofware Technik (Intelligent Data Analysis Group) in Berlin, Germany from 2006 to 2008. In 2008 she moved to the TU-Berlin, Machine Learning Group where she was PI of several national and international projects in the field of data analysis for brain signals until 2016. Between 2016 and 2021 she was Ramon y Cajal fellow (with I3 certificate) at the Public University of Navarre, where she developed multimodal methods to understand brain and muscle function. In 2021 she was awarded an Ikerbasque Research Associate permanent contract at Tecnalia Health, Neurotechnology Lab.
