The neuroscience of perception: Are your eyes and ears lying to you?
The perception of sensory input is influenced by context and experience. This presentation will demonstrate a few common "illusions" that occur in visual and speech processing. Current research that aims to understand the neuroscience underlying these effects will be briefly discussed.
