I am delighted to invite you to the scientific opening ceremony of the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL) on May 21rst, 2010. It is going to be an exciting day. Six internationally renowned researchers, who are all on the advisory board of the BCBL, will speak about current advances and future avenues in their areas of expertise in Cognitive Neuroscience. I am sure their vision about how Cognitive Neuroscience has developed, what the future directions of the field are and what new discoveries are expected in coming years will be illuminating, entertaining and stimulating.

Neurocognitive research on language and other neighboring areas of cognition will be the discussed during this workshop.

 The meeting is open to everyone interested in Cognition, Brain and Language, or in the transfer of knowledge to applied areas with the aim of improving quality of life.

Attendees will be invited to lunch of "pintxos".
