PREDOCTORAL POSITIONS: the COEDUCA Consolider Ingenio 2010 consortium offers 11 pretdoctoral positions.
The “Cognition and Education” CONSOLIDER INGENIO 2010 consortium offers 11 postdoctoral positions, each of them for 2 years, including a renewal for another 2 years (four years in total) to work in a stimulating interdisciplinary working environment on Cognitive Neuroscience and Education. Most of the experiments will involve school aged children. Prior experience of work with children will be helpful. A DEA or Master Degree in Cognitive Neuroscience or neighbouring areas will be desirable as well.

3 predoctoral positions are available to conduct studies on
individual differences in temperament, attention abilities, and
emotional self-regulation at the University of Murcia (Murcia, Spain.
www.um.es) under the supervision of Luis Fuentes and
at the University of Granada (www.ugr.es ) under the supervision of
Charo Rueda.

3 predoctoral positions are available to conduct studies on reading at
the Basque Center on Cognition Brain and Language (San Sebastián,
Basque Country, Spain. www.bcbl.eu) under the supervision of Manuel
Carreiras, Jon Andoni Duñabeitia and Manuel Perea.

3 predoctoral positions are available to conduct studies on text
comprehension and reasoning at the University of Granada (Granada,
Spain. www.ugr.es) under the supervision of Maria Teresa Bajo, at the UNED (www.uned.es ) under de supervision of Juan
G. Madruga and at the University of La Laguna (Tenerife, Spain.
www.ull.es) under the supervision of Horacio Barber.

1 predoctoral position is available to conduct studies with immigrants
on reading, attention and text comprehension at the University of
Sevilla (Sevilla, Spain. www.us.es ) under the supervision of David
Saldaña. Prior experience working with children of
immigrant families will be desirable. Candidates should be prepared to
travel and work between the Universities of Sevilla and La Laguna.
- 1 predoctoral position is available to conduct genetic studies at the CICBiogune (Bilbao, Spain www.cicbiogune.es) under the supervision of Ana María Aransay. Previous experience in genetics and/or biology will be desirable.
