The “Cognition and Education” CONSOLIDER INGENIO 2010 consortium offers one computer engineer position, for 1 year, including a renewal for another 3 years (four years in total) to work in a stimulating interdisciplinary working environment on Cognitive Neuroscience and Education at the University of La Laguna (Tenerife, Spain. www.ull.es) under the supervision of Juan E. Jimenez. Prior experience with the design of educational videogames is desirable.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer engineer, informatics, engineering or similar.
- Previous experience in creating videogames (e.g., previous experience with the creation of graphic environments, with graphics engines, etc.)
- Previous experience in creating educational or therapeutic videogames is welcome.
- Fluent in software analyses, design, and development.
- Advanced programming skills
- Advanced planning and documentation skills
