Research shows some people capable of voluntarily suppressing memory recall
Research recently published in the prestigious scientific ‘Journal of Neuroscience’, directed by Kepa Paz-Alonso, scientist at the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL), together with Silvia Bunge from the Helen Wills Neurosciences Institute at the University of California in Berkeley, shows the brain regions involved in the capacity for suppressing memories.
